Silva – Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor

Silva is the owner-operator of Eastbourne Community Fitness Ltd. She has been providing a wide variety of local fitness classes since 2015. Silva completed a diploma in exercise science in 2008 with a strong focus on exercise therapy. Her passion is getting people back into moving their bodies, building strength, awareness, confidence and most important finding joy in movement. She loves the social aspect and energy of working with groups of all ages and fitness levels.

Margo – Group Fitness Instructor and Nutritionist

Teaching: Qigong, Yoga, Stretch, Pilates, Strength and Core Training

As a teenager Margo began her journey into the world of martial arts with Karate before settling into Tae Kwon Do and Tai Chi. As an adult it was not a big leap to refocus by becoming a qualified yoga teacher in Australia and redirecting her love of martial arts into Qigong. Pilates and strength training has been a welcomed addition to her skill base. She has been teaching for over 10 years. Margo also has a keen interest in nutrition and the role a healthy lifestyle combined with supplementation can improve one’s healthspan.

  • Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Behavioural and Clinical Psychology (Waikato University)
  • Masters in Arts majoring in Neuropsychology  (Massey University)

  • Certificate in Mental Health and Nutrition (University of Canterbury)
